Last Monday for those who were eagerly awaiting, the FMCSA has announced that you may now designate a Medical Examiner Administrative Assistant (MEAA) to enter driver qualification information data online.

This allows the Medical Examiners to designate one or more MEAA to access the National Registry and perform reporting functions on their behalf. The MEAA will need to first set up a National Registry profile to obtain a National Registry number. Once they receive their number, the MEAA should provide it to the Medical Examiner who can then select them and designate them in their National Registry online account.
