With the Medical Examiner’s Certification Integration Final Rule Published on 04/23/2015, there are two important dates that medical examiners will need to remember to stay in compliance:
1. 12/22/ 2015 compliance date to use new MER (Medical Examiner Report Form) and Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
2. 06/22/2018 Reporting Requirement: Date when medical examiners will have to submit driver certification results by midnight local time the day following an exam. See HDT Trucking article:
